Split Screen

In Blender, you can split your 3D View window so you can have multiple views. You can also change the view type to show other useful things.

To split the screen, hover your cursor over the side you want to split. When the cursor changes to the double-arrow resize cursor, right-click and choose “Split Area”, then place the split line wherever you want it. You can reposition the split line after you’ve set it.

You can join areas by right-clicking on the edge between two windows and clicking “Join Areas.” Then choose which window you want to discard
