Firstly thank you Murgy for making these tutorials, they have helped me out immensely and I would be lost without them. My question is in regards to LOD and Multires levels. I've created a lillypad with a stem that looks fairly decent in Blender but when I go upload it into SL it looks crazy from even a short distance away. These are the steps I took:
1) Created a sphere with X: 8 Y:8 faces, Subsurf + Catmull level 2.
2) Added 2 levels of multires with simple subdivision and proceeded to sculpt.
3) Upon completion I changed the RGB by +55 -55 as per the tip in the last part of your LOD tutorial to try and help the LOD out a bit but to no avail.
I'm not sure where I went wrong since I thought I had fixed the problem by using simple subdivision. Any insight is appreciated, cheers.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I did upload the sculpt map with lossless compression checked.
